Me and My Rider:A Dirty Game of Love(3)

“No, no….this can’t be happening,” Trisha cried, “Why my daddy?!”

“It’s gone be ok, baby girl,” Ben whispered trying to comfort her.

Trisha looked up at Ben, with tears running down her face and with misery in her eyes, and she spoke, “It will never be ok.” She wiped her face and ran back to the limo. As she sat there waiting for them to drive off, Trisha realized that her life, as she knew it, would never be the same. At the time, she didn’t understand why, but as destiny would have it, she would soon find out.

Months later, Trisha’s mom decided it was time for a change, so she moved them to a nice three-bedroom apartment just in time for Trisha to start first grade. For a while, things began to seem semi-normal. Trisha accelerated in school, their mom busted her butt to provide as a single mother, and her siblings were her siblings (arguments, fights, and all). Trisha still thought about her dad daily, and after four years, the hurt still felt as if it had happened yesterday, yet Trisha kept her feelings to herself, silently praying for better days.

The summer of Trisha’s fifth-grade year came before she knew it, and just as every summer since her father’s death, she and Camren prepared to go to their Aunt Liz’s house. This was Trisha and Camren’s way of staying close to their father’s family and giving their mom a miniature break. Trisha and Camren loved it, because their cousins Shan, Pam, and Nadelie were close in age to them, and they always had a good time together. When Trisha and Camren made it to their aunt’s house, they did their normal ritual. Play time at the park, a movie with pizza, and then baths and bed before ten.

That night, Trisha chose to sleep in Pam’s bed. She was older and less likely to have an accident in her sleep like her other sisters. As she slept, Trisha started to fill something pulling at her nightgown. When she rolled over, she was startled by the touch of Pam’s lips against hers. Trisha jumped back, almost falling out of the bed.

“What…” Before Trisha could finish her statement, Pam covered her mouth with her hands and pulled her closer to her. With her free hand, she grabbed Trisha’s panties and slid them down with one pull. Trisha clinched up. Too afraid to move, she laid there in shock and confusion. Pam’s fingers slid between Trisha’s tiny thighs and spread them apart. Trisha was scared out of her mind. Her mind was racing as she started to feel a warm sensation run through her body, yet she laid in silence as Pam’s fingers began to move faster.

Trisha’s eye’s popped open when she felt Pam’s lips on her inner thigh. A tear dropped from her eye, but she quickly wiped it away. Trisha felt as though she was having an outer body experience, as her young adolescent body was defiled. When she was done, Pam got up and walked to the restroom. Trisha slid her underwear back up and rolled over. Scared to think of what had just happened to her and what it meant, Trisha forced herself to shut her eyes and go to sleep.

The late night creep sessions continued for the remaining summer. During the day, Trisha and Pam were cousins enjoying their summer vacation as typical children. At night, the shades were drawn when the molestation increased, causing Trisha to feel as though each night she was losing a part of herself. She refused to tell anyone, afraid of what would happen. Unsure if people would blame her or if this would ruin their families bond, silence once again became her friend.

Trisha and Camren made it through the summer, and their mom was there to pick them up as planned. On the ride home, Trisha watched out the window as Camren played around with their Barbie dolls.

“How was y’all summer break?” their mother questioned as she drove down the street.

“We had fun momma,” Camren screamed, recounting their fun days.

“Trisha,” their mom spoke, “how was your stay?”

“Trisha looked over at her mother and forced a smile across her face. With a straight face, she spoke, “It was fine…. Everything was fine.”

Back to Reality

“Say MA!” Beep! Beep! A young man hollered over his beeping horn. Trisha snapped back to reality, as she realized she was sitting at a green light. She quickly brushed her tears from her face and sped off without even giving the young man a second thought.
