Is Love Enough(10)By: Darnisha King
“Come on Brandy, you want me to be a petty ass nigga?” he asked.
“No, I want to know that you are with me and only me, from this day forth.” I kind of wanted him to be petty, but I also wanted to know that he was serious.
“Okay then, I’ll call Erika and tell her everything you just said, as long as you call Tre and tell him what I said earlier.” If he was going to be petty and mean, he wanted me to be as well.
I did exactly what he asked me to do because he called Erika and said every word that I asked him to say verbatim.
After getting off of the phone with Tre, I never turned around to tell Lance what he had just said. See, the thing is, Tre is a punk. And all punks are scary, grimy ass niggas. He felt like Lance was trying to pull his hoe-card, and stamp his girl. He wasn’t having it, so he just talked a whole lot of shit about how he was gon get Lance and me, if it was the last thing he did.
But anyway, I was happy that we were back together. And, although I had to work in the morning, I wasn’t ready to go to sleep. I wanted to stay awake with him until the sun rose.
I fell asleep in his arms, while we were talking. And, I guess in his gesture to return the favor I had laid down on him earlier, he spread my legs open and ate me out greatly until I was cumming in my sleep. Once I was finally up, he lay on his back and told me to get on his face.
I did just that because I hadn’t had any good head in forever. Especially having the privilege of riding this nigga’s pretty ass face? I was too excited. I swear, it seemed like an hour and a half, and ten orgasms before he was done and I was straddling him. I rode the shit out of that nigga, as he grabbed my hips and start lifting me up and down, making sure that I got all of him in me.
And I sure did, I took it like I was never going to get it again. So excited to have my love back with me again. I was happy. It was now about 6a.m. and there wasn’t anything left to do but go to sleep. I had to be at work at 7:30 that morning, but work was going to have to wait. I wasn’t ready to leave Lance just yet.
Dear Mama by Tupac, Lance’s cellphone continued to ring.
“Get the phone for me B!” Lance yelled from the bathroom.
“Hello?” I said.
“Hi, Mrs. Tucker, how are you?” I asked.
“I’m fine, is this Brandy?” Mrs. Tucker recognized my voice.
“It sure is! But Lance is in the washroom brushing his teeth.”
“Oh, well tell him that Erika has been calling my house all morning, playing on my phone; and tell him that someone by the name of Shanika called him as well.” She was noticeably angry about Erika playing on her phone.
“I sure will,” I said to her. But I was more concerned with knowing who Shanika was.
“Baby, who was it?” he asked, smiling as he walked into the bedroom.
“It was your mother and she left a message for you,” I said angrily. “She said that Erika has been playing on her house phone all morning, and that some girl named Shanika called for you too.”
“Now, who the hell is Shanika, and how many other women are going to be popping up?” I asked.
“Shanika is a girl that I messed with back in like March or April, when me and Erika first broke up,” he answered, like it was nothing.
“Well, why is she calling you at the beginning of July, Lance? Why is she calling your PARENTS’ house phone early in the fucking morning then, Lance? Is there something you are not telling me, nigga?” I muffed his head back.
“Damn Brandy, you tripping; you must still be sleepy or something. You want to go back to sleep baby?” he asked in a joking manner, as he tried to hug me.
“I’m not playing Lance, what the fuck is up?” I yelled as I went into the washroom to take a bath.
He didn’t say anything, he just let me go into the bathroom and handle my business. I took a long ass bath because my coochie needed to soak from all that we were doing last night. I was simply lost in the words of ‘Whispers in the Dark’ by P. Coakley. I repeated it about 11 times before I finally got out of the tub. Once I came out of the washroom, Lance had gone and brought back breakfast from the Denny’s up the street.
