The Worst Thots Ever Vol. 2(56)

By: Jessica Wren

“Whatttttt? Melody, what about my daughters? My daughters! Keisha fuckkkkkk you! Whyyyyyy are you doing this?” Tyler sobbed.

I kissed Zylan’s cheek and gave Tyler the death stare. I had a feeling Tyler would show up today. This bitch ain't even healed properly; but oh well, an eye for an eye bitch. Vengeance is mine and I’m just getting started.

The End

I dedicate this poem to anyone who has lost a loved one. I pray God comforts you. This poem is dear to my heart. Anytime I think of my Grandmother Bernice Johnson who passed, I read this poem. I hope it helps you the way it helped me. Hugs!

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me

When tomorrow starts without me

And I’m not here to see

If the sun should rise and find your eyes

All filled with tears for me

I wish you wouldn’t cry

The Way you did today

While thinking of the many things

We did not get to say

I know how much you love me

As much as I love you

Each time that you think of me

I know you will miss me too

When tomorrow starts without me

Please try to understand

That an angel came and called my name

And took me by the hand

The angel said my place was ready

In heaven far above

And That I would have to leave behind

All those I Dearly Love

But When I walked through Heaven’s Gates

I felt so much at home

When GOD looked down and smiled at me

From his golden throne

He said This Is Eternity

And All I promised you

Today for life on earth is done

But Here it starts a new

I promise no tomorrow

For today will always last

And Since each day’s the exact same way

There is no longing for the past

So When Tomorrow starts without me

Do not think we’re apart

For every time you think of me

Remember I’m right here in your heart

Courage: To stand before so many and share a passion of writing is the hardest thing to do. You’re constantly judged and at times discouraged. Some don’t know my journey. It means so much to me just to see the finished product of something I put my all into. Whether I succeed or fail, I know I tried and what’s not to be honored about that? If you believe you can achieve. Don’t let others tell you what you can or can’t do. If it is anything you want to do, do it. Go hard for it and never give up. Don’t worry about the how just do. If something is for you, God will walk with you and make a way. I thank you all who have taken a chance on me as a new author. I was so afraid to write. Fear kept me hostage for years. I worried too much about what people said and thought. Now I know better. This journey is my journey. Because of my courage to stand, I’ve been many places and met people I never thought I would. I’m humble.

Words cannot express the joy in my heart when I speak of my family. To have your mother, father and sister all cheer in your corner and push you daily, is so beautiful. Thank you for loving me at times when I didn’t love myself; for showing me the beauty within and helping me learn to protect my self-esteem. Thank you for the prayers and never giving up on me; for always encouraging me and reminding me of my gifts and talents. We have had some hard roads, but we always remained a family of love and a unit undivided. I love you Mom, Dad and Ashley.
